hey! new kinkmeme! as someone who doesn't write tav-focused fic, love to see it.

the rules should probably be clarify you (presumably) mean The Dark Urge characters are also not included, not just Tavs. like, the intent is pretty obvious, but it's nice to be specific about these things, especially since there's the kind of ambiguous status of a 'canon' Durge unlike Tavs.

personally, I wouldn't mind allowing canon-only Durge, since I feel like there's a pretty unified fanon sense of the character (at least in backstory/Durgetash stuff), but it's pretty borderline since they're customizable especially for how things go in the game. idk if other people have strong opinions either way.

hello and welcome to my humble dominion of tavless prompts! that is an excellent question, which I was still debating when I made the original rules post.

For now, I'm erring on the side of allowing canon Durge, as long as he has the original sorcerer/white dragonborn/history & will amend the rules accordingly. We'll see if it seems like prompts end up drifting into custom Durges regardless & react accordingly.

If anyone wants to weigh in on this, feel free to reply! Durge is very much a grey area and can end up functioning as a bit of a sliding scale from canon Durge to custom Tav; but he does offer a lot of interesting potential interactions with the rest of the case.
